Q: Why aren't there many senior photo examples on your site?
A: Because of my husband's Air Force career, we just recently moved to the Northern VA area. Up until this time, I have focused my skills on photography of children and families. Now that we are settled in a much larger area with plenty of high schools, I will begin focusing on senior photography. I look forward to it!!!
Q: Does my school require I use a certain photographer for my senior portraits?
A: Some schools require a specific photographer be used for yearbook photos but for your casual and formal photos, those that are fun and reflect your personality, you can use any photographer you choose.
Q: Will my senior portraits cost a lot? Don't I have to purchase at least $1000 worth of photos?
A: You can spend as little $250 on your portraits or as much as you want. We have discounts in place that will save you money, the more you order.
Q: Do you take each person's photos at the same locations?
A: No way! If you have a specific location in mind, I am more than happy to check it out and most likely, it can be used. I also have several locations I like should you not have a preference. You are encouraged to bring anything that reflects your personality to your session...sports equipment, your car, your pet, your best friend...anything!
Q: If I bring my best friend, can he or she also get portrait taken?
A: Your best friends is more than welcome to be a part of several of your photos, however should he or she want photographed by themselves, they will need to arrange their own session. We do offer referal credits so we do hope you encourage your friends to use us for their senior photos.
Q: What are referal credits?
A: They are basically discounts you get when you refer a friend that books and completes a session with us. These can be used for future sessions, prints or products and most seniors love to use them on custom graduation announcements in the spring. You will get $25 credit for each person you refer that books and completes a session.
Q: Can I just get a CD of all my photos so that I can take them to print on my own?
A: We do offer CD's and witheach CD is a copyright release so that you can use the images we took for printing on your own. CD prices start at $350.
Q: Do you charge extra for retouching, clothing changes, etc.?
A: No. Basic retouching is included free of charge. We are able to retouch basic imperfections, however some things like braces removal are more time consuming and may require an additional fee. You would be notified of this prior to placing your order. We never charge extra for clothing changes either!
Q: When is the best time to get my photos taken?
A: The time of year is completely up to you. However most new seniors prefer to have their photos taken early in the summer before their senior year.
